EPW - "A F Schnider à Francfurt [sic]" (unlisted), gold and enamel verge fusee, 39mm, 18K gold OF original consular case with very pleasing basse-taille enameled back, KWKS, WED, Louis XV hands, verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#810. Gross weight of assembled watch 28.5 dwt (44.4 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, good balance motion, good escapement function, plates show mint gilding with pristine toning and few clouds, no oxide on steel components; dial perfect; hands mint; original case shows no wear, no MFS to perfect enamel (enamel has slight discoloration within the enamel forming from the ET surface), no dents or dings, crisp detail; button latch good; bow & pendant original; good domed glass crystal.
